It hasn't been that long since I was last up at sunrise, but I'd forgotten how fast it happens. It was pitch black outside, and then voila! twenty minutes later, gray daylight.
(No, I didn't mean to be up this early. It just happened. Yes, I am at least getting some good work out of it.)

I was gonna say, did you spend many a morning this last summer . . . oh wait, you were probably in the ER . . . and yeah, that is getting to be a while ago, and yes, I realize that you may not appreciate the reminder. What else am I good for?
No, I was already thinking of CPE - that was where the "it hasn't been that long" came from. Also, I didn't actually do that many AM shifts. I had this cool guy in my group who took a lot of those so I got to work days...
